Description of 1951 Bentley Other Mark VI |
1951 Bentley Mark VI! Bentley produced the Mark VI from 1946-1952. It was the first post war luxury vehicle made by Bentley. A41⁄2-litre, .6L (4,566cc/278cu in) version of the engine was introduced and then referred to as the big bore engine. A four-speed syncromesh manual transmission was fitted with the change lever to the right of the driver. In 1951,the Mark VI had a top speed of 100mph (160km/h) and could accelerate from 0-60mph (97km/h) in 15.0 seconds. Then engine on this vehicle still runs today. The pieces are all there, little time just needs to be put into the car. Time that I don't have. Its a beautiful classic. This is one of two Bentleys that I own. Check out the other I have up on Ebay to see the potential. *One piece missing is sunroof. Message with questions and schedule a viewing if you'd like. |
