In 1976 I was crossing Africa in a VW van. While camping near the Capital of Central African Republic, two Truckettes arrived at the campsite, coming all the way from Paris, heading to South Africa. Wow! They had crossed the Sahara. I dreamed of owning a little car so tough. Now after owning this jewel for 13 years, I must sell. This truckette spent most of its life in Spain, where it was built. Hence, it is basically rust free. I have always garaged it and driven only occasionally in the summer months. I have been told there are only 100-150 truckettes in the U.S. As you see it comes with a factory roof rack. This I had powder coated black, along with all 5 tire rims. This truckette has the 602 cc engine. I added electronic ignition. She runs well. Please do your research. This is not a fast vehicle. Would be great for a French cafe or bakery. The mileage listed is in kilometers.
