This 1985 Citroen 2CV was built in March 1985, imported from the Netherlands by a US-based Citroen enthusiast in 2014, and acquired by its current owner in 2017. The chassis was replaced in 2014. The following parts were also replaced: convertible roof, seat covers and upholstery, 123 electronic ignition system, voltage regulator, cv joint boots, and steering track-arm boots. The car has a 652cc motor from a Citroen Visa, which is very similar in appearance to the original 602cc motor. The 4-speed manual transaxle and motor were rebuilt by Burton Motorcars of the Netherlands. The 4-speed manual transaxle has been rebuilt with higher gearing to match the increased output. A 2018 service consisted of a valve adjustment as well as installation of a new fuel pump, engine breather, disc brake calipers, battery cables, turn signal switch, ignition coil, starter, windshield, and spark plug wires.
