1936 AUBURN BOATTAIL SPEEDSTER - 2011 CA REPRODUCTION! 851 / 852 model
FORD 351W V8 POWER with a FORD C6 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION 1,700 MILES SINCE 2011 BUILD The craftsmanship on this build is incredible. The custom metallic paint was $14,000 alone! Everything about this one is fantastic. POWERED BY A FORD 351 WINDSOR ENGINE! One of the top engines of all time! Along with the Ford C6 Transmission, widely known as the Cruise-O-Matic!
Accelerates, Shifts and Runs fantastic! This might be the best looking Auburn Speedster on the market! What a car. Not only does this car attract massive attention, it drives unbelievably! Just before posting it here, I put it in a car show ( Westlake Classic Car Show ) here in the Dallas-Ft.Worth metroplex. I had never driven it on the highway, but this was a good excuse to get it out. At first, I though I would just stay on the access road. However, seeing how well it handled and the ease of acceleration, I headed right on the on-ramp and was at 85mph almost immediately. I've driven vehicles with the Ford 351W before, but this one zips! Equally impressive was the actual ride quality. The aerodynamics are great from a wind perspective. I'm 6'3 and come all the way to the tip of the windshield...surprised at how nice and low wind noise there was. The suspension is solid! No rattles, no squeaks and no vibrations. If you like it in the photos....you'll love it in-person! I've consigned hundreds of high-end vehicles and this car has PRESENCE! It's only been in my warehouse a short time and everyone that sees it..says "Wow..what is that?" We priced this one aggressively. This is not one of the kit cars that you may come across of! This was a full scale Auburn reproduction. Original cost on these units was between $115,000-$125,000 in 2011. My cell# is below. If you're a serious buyer and want to discuss this vehicle, don't hesitate to give me a call. Jeremy, Owner at eCARHOUSE. COM Dallas-Ft.Worth, Texas 972-754-1414 |
