Description of 1966 Datsun Other SPL311

1966 Datsun 1600 Fairlady. This is a great little car. I am the 2nd owner and have owned it since January 18,1973. New exterior paint, op, eats, eck, ll done in 1982. Bumpers were re-chromed at that time. Passenger side door was replaced before it was painted due to a minor accident. I was backing out of a carport and my boyfriend at the time opened the door and caught the original door on the carport post. It bent it forward and bent the hinges. It was easier just to replace the door. That is why the interior paint on that door is a slightly different shade than the rest of the interior. It also cannot be locked with the original keys. It needs to be locked from the inside. New water pump in 1984. Garage kept. Engine has 112,794 miles. It had 77,539 miles when I purchased it. Has not been driven much the last 15 years. I just put new tires on it April 2015. The rims are custom that I purchased new in 1974. I do have the original rims. I found out after purchasing the new tires that the left front custom rim has a minor crack in it so there is a very slow leak. It can be fixed. Clutch does slip a little. New set of carbs in 2007. One choke cable recently broke and is too short to be connected. 2nd is still connected and working. Car starts fine.Runs great considering how little it's been driven. Just took it out for a spin June 23. Radio does not work. Only lights working are the turn signals. All lights were working until just recently. Wiring is mostly original so that could be the issue. Or fuses? There are two cracks in the dash which are pictured. Small ding on the left front wheel well shown in pic. According to my mechanic it may need a new alternator/regulator soon. I have the original tonneau cover and the deck cover shown in the pic of trunk which are in good shape. I do not have the original steering wheel. May not have listed all things that need work, ut tried to touch on a lot of it. My Dad used to help me with most of the maintenance. Currently I don't have the time or money necessary for the up keep of an antique car. That is the only reason I am selling it. Selling "as is".
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I have many more pictures I can provide and a video of the car running. Happy bidding!
