Description of 1983 Datsun Other
1983 Datsun 720 4x4 King Cab 5-Speed 2.2 Z22 engine.
Produced July 1982 as one of the 1st 1983 models.
Far from Perfect but MANY New Parts purchased by me and Professionally installed.
Both right and left front 1/2 axles replaced. Rotors, alipers, ads, dler Arm all New.
New Weber Carburetor straight from Weber. And get this, 50psi Compression ALL around !
Little rust on the Bed Seam Bead (usual for these models). Previously upgraded MB Motoring Wheels.
(Tires ok, ut will need replacing this year.) Interior needs some love. Drivers seat needs cover at least.
(been told a 1996+ Isuzu Rodeo seats swap right in) Steering wheel needs replacing but a cover will do.
Mileage is unknown as speedo cable broke before I bought her. Been try to find a replacement but it's a Long + weird length. I just use my GPS. ALL other gauges work (gas, ach, il, ater, tc)
She needs a good home. I no longer have the time or extra money.
You will not find many of these Datsuns around. If they've been fully restored they're over $8k and in California.

Mechanic says Head Gasket needs replacing. Engine still fine.I will park it until sold to ensure nothing further happens.I do not have the time/$$ to deal with it anymore.(pisses me off. Had one as a kid and always wanted another one. Ugh!)
