Description of 1983 Datsun Z-Series ZX

1983 Datsun 280ZX Coupe, on-Turbo. Last year of the 280zx! I would say it's 97% originally restored. It has a few upgrades, ut not many. It does, owever, ave the rare "Leather & Digital Pkg" option. Leather seats were beyond repair, ut I found a super nice set of cloth seats from another 83. Digital gauges work exceptionally well! It has 2.8Liter Inline 6 N/A, -speed, W, DL, M (heated), ruise Control, S, B, -Tops and the original bags they go in! It even has the original spare tire, ack and other parts that have been unopened. I've been an enthusiast of the Datsun Z cars since the 80's! I bought the car in April 2014 and I'm the 3rd Owner. It has been in North Alabama since it was new. I have most of the receipts for the parts I've replaced, ut I do have all pics on a CD. The car might as well be new, s much as I've done to it!

I put a nicer hood on too
I pulled the engine, as I was gonna V8 it, ut after I had it apart, t looked great inside the block/cylinders. So, replace just about everything and put the stock engine back in.

I have several extra hard to find/expensive parts that go with the car, uch as: Another AFM, pair of nice tail lights, he outer window door dew wipe thingys, everal extra underhood relays, mall misc parts, tc.
It runs, rives and handles amazingly! Uses no oil, oesn't leak or smoke at all! It looks 100% better than it did the day I bought it! I have a clear, lean title!! There is no rust in the frame rails or underneath the car. The doors are solid and not droopy. Like I mentioned above, have the majority of the receipts, ut have misplaced some of them... You can look at the pics from then to now and tell what's been changed replaced. I do, owever, ave a ton of progress pictures, hat I will put on a CD, or the new owner. I have various manuals that go with the car. As well as, he owners manual and dealer brochures. I know the Air Conditioning doesn't work, as the compressor is locked up and one of the hoses has been removed). The front grille is there, ut there's a small part broken, ut it's hard to notice. The factory digital clock in the dash doesn't work either.
I'm being as honest as I can about the car. Remember, 'm an enthusiast and hate to sell it, ut we need the money more than the car at the moment... This is a sound, otally rust-free, un little car to drive, ow that I've replaced everything on it! I know this car from top to bottom, ront to rear, nside to outside! I'm being as honest as I can about it, s I believe these are the only issues that are wrong with it? The interior is 100% in tact, o missing pieces!
Reason for sale: Wife and I need the money, ore than the extra car at the moment.
