This car had the engine and transmission rebuilt and was waiting for paint and upholstery. My friend went through a divorce and let it sit in his driveway, with the hard top on) for 20 years or so. He gave me an offer I couldn't refuse so I took it. I can't seem to get power to the starter though. I took it in on a trailer to replace the starter. It cranked over once and the starter doesn't even click now. The wiring connections are a little corroded with age and I don't think they make good contact. This is the state it is in. Take a close look at the photos. The body is fairly straight and most the parts are there...granted, ome chrome needs rechroming and there is a little surface rust, ut as you can see, t is only surface. An excellent car to restore! Hopefully the motor and transmission will work great and you can skip that stage. Although my friend had no reason to exaggerate, haven't even got it to start so I can't state an opinion either way. The speedometer says 02400, ut it must have turned over I imagine. The soft top bows are there, ut the cloth is bad.
