1979 Datsun Nissan 280zx 2 seater 5 spd a/c cruise one owner 107k mi.

• 5 speed (79 is the first year a 5 speed manual was available,

• and this is the last year for no catalytic converters)

This is a nice solid car. I am listing this for my brother who is the original and current owner of the car. He purchased it new in 1979, nd has taken exceptional care of it ever since. It has had a recent re-paint, nd is excellent, I have pictures of the 35 year old paint before the repaint). The the interior is excellent, nly significant issues are the dash has 2 small cracks. It has a new carpet, nd I have pictures of the solid and original floor pans.

The wheels are excellent (the original wheel locks come with the car, hey were not on when the photos where taken.) Tires are ok, ut it could use some new shoes. All gauges work, ncluding the very cool monitoring system (it checks lights, nd fluid levels). The A/C was converted to 134a a while back, nd works fine. The cruise works about 50% of the time ( I think the cable to the actuator is a bit sticky, nd causes it to switch off). Overall the car starts, tops, nd rides great. Good power, oes not use oil or smoke. Motor, nd transmission have never been opened or modified. Suspension,and exhaust maintained to original specifications. Transmission and clutch are excellent. (new clutch at about 80kmi.). The stereo has been modified for an external input, nd 2 box speakers added to rear hatch area. (original speakers, nd covers are included.) Rear defogger doesn't work, nd it needs a new power antenna.

If you want a nice solid unmolested 2 seat, spd. Z car, ith excellent options at a reasonable price, his is it.
