Description of 1977 Datsun Z-Series 280Z |
Thank you for bidding on this near forty year old Datsun 280Z survivor. Believed to be a low mileage California Blue plate car, his Z is optioned with the 5 speed manual transmission, ir-conditioning, ower antenna and paint code 517 beige metallic. This Z car is in incredible original physical and mechanical condition. The AC and power antenna are both working. The only component believed to be non-original is an aftermarket Pioneer radio. The fuel injected in-line 6, 70HP 2753 cc engine idles smooth, ulls hard, nd sounds awesome. The clutch and transmission are buttery smooth and all gears shift and sync-up beautifully. The brakes are fresh and they haul the car down smoothly without any pulling. The suspension gives a nice comfortable ride that literally feels like a new 280Z should. The Interior is near perfect, o cracks in the dash, eats, arpet and headliner are in excellent condition. All gauges and switches function as per design. Working map light. The clock is inoperative. The under hood light is operative. The spare and tire jack appear to be unused with paint markings intact, he tire inflator and tool kit are both present and appear unused as well. The exterior paint looks orig. and is in excellent condition. There are a few light spots of oxidation, nd a few stone chips that add patina. This near 40 year old Z presents better than most 2 year old vehicles. The chrome bumpers look brand new as does the window chrome. If you are looking for a 280Z as an investment, his time capsule is one of a kind, o look no further! |
