VIN JN1HZ06S3CX435434 A California Smog was recently completed on February 19, 2016 187,437 Original Miles Motor Trend Car of the Year in 1979 Original Numbers Matching In-Line 6 2.8L Engine Original 5 Speed Borg Warner T5 Transmission Power Steering 4 Wheel Disc Brakes The Exterior Paint we would say is about 15 years old and it is what we describe as driver quality. There is no body damage or evidence of repairs anywhere....just minor nicks and chips in some places. As a sunny dry California car there is also no evidence of paint blistering or bubbling indicating corrosion of the body. The Original Z Alloy Wheels are in nice shape. The T-Top roof comes on and off effortlessly. The Glass throughout the entire car is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The Rear Window Louvres were added. The Interior is in good Original shape. There are no rips or tears in the seats or door panels. The Drivers seats has obvious wear on the left bolster from getting in and out of the car. The Dash has no cracks. The Carpet is discolored in places and it would be a nice addition to add a new carpet kit. Power Windows all work as they should. The Factory Cruise Control does not work. The Factory Sound System does give off some noise but we were unable to tune in a station. The Factory Voice Warning System operates as it should....when door are open and other reminders. The Instrumentation and Gauges all work as they should...including the Clock! It comes with its Original Owners Manual. The Chassis of the car is nice and clean and dry. The Engine compartment is very tidy showing pride of ownership and maintenance. Most of all the Original Engine Compartment decals are still in place! The Z Cars are all highly collectable and this is a very nice original and untampered with car that would make a fine specimen for any collection to leave as it is or take up to the next level. It drives out beautifully....accelerates well, shifts firm and handles great!
