1982 Datsun Base Short Bed

The last Datsun pickup mad, 1983 was the first Nissan . Here is a prettyclean and straight base modelshort bed with original paint ! It hasn't been detailed to hide any thing . It has only had a new tinted windshield and rubbe, new shifter boot installed. Other than that I just drove it . A previous owner parked it and it sat for a few year, thus the low mileage 147707 . Speedometer works greatand itis the million mile speedometer so actual miles . That works out to only 4,220 a year ! Run good for a 35 year old not being rebuilt or any thing, starts right up every time cold orwarm .It has the 22 z motor with solid lifters and 8 spark plugs on a 4 cyl. ! Itabout time to readjust the valve, simple wrench and feeler gauge job.Doesn't leak oil-grease-wate, inside or out ! No cracks in the dash but seat is ready for recover and a little wear in floor mat under drivers feet. The headliner is in nice shape.Has new shocks on back but front needs new shocks . Steering is nice and tight and drives a straight line if you let go of the wheel . Brakes work well and brakes in a straight line with out pulling one way or the other . Everything works but windshield washersandhead light dimmer relaycould use replacing. When you turn on headlights they come on in high beam no matter it's in low beam or high beamposition BUT you just let it warm up a minut, the lights work like normaljust slow to dim from high beam.Heater-fan-wipers-turn signals-dash lights-gas gauge-temperature gauge-door windows-locks and parking brake all work . The older after market stereo works when it wants t, needs new stereo .Tires have good trea, just old but handle and ride ok so I just kept using them . Unlike some of the older 620's it will drive down the freeway at 65 . Has couple rusty spots that haven't gone through worstondrivers side on bed seam in front of rear tire, most common spot on these 720's and vent grill at the bottom of windshield, if got to soon not that hard of a repair . Have a can of paint that is "very" close to same color for touch u, didn't want any thinghidden .
