1973 Datsun 240Z. This is a very honest example of the legendary Fairlady Z. The body retains approx 80% of what appears to be the original factory Orange (code 918) paint. from the looks of the solid, straight body, this 240Z has clearly lived in a warm, dry climate it's entire life. The chassis, underside, and body are corrosion and rust free. The hood has been replaced with one of the same color code (although less faded), it has some minor rust through on the passenger-side front edge. Included in the sale is another hood needing paint, but with no rust. This Z is running 15" Konig wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich tires with 85% tread remaining. It has recently been treated to a tune-up and inspection and runs out strong. The steering, brakes, suspension, gearbox, and engine all operate as they should. The clutch slips slightly so a new one has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it arrives. There are color matching strut-tower braces in the front and rear. Those, along with the larger than factory spec wheels and tires, make this car handle extremely well. The dashboard top is sun-baked and cracked so there is a cloth dash cover installed. The factory Air Conditioning works and blows cold. All of the lighting, gauges, and switches are functional. These 240Z's have finally become the cult classics they deserve to be. With the relatively light weight body and powerful (and ultra-smooth) inline 6-cylinder, the driving experience is like few other classic sports cars. To say this car is fun to drive is truly an understatement. Please contact Jeff with any questions or for more information. I have several, more detailed photos available. Private sale, clean title in hand. Open to possible classic car trades.
