Description of 1967 Datsun Pickup 520 |
1967 Datsun 520 in great condition. No rust underneath this truck!!! It's amazing how rust free and well kept it is. There are a few tiny holes on the passenger side floorboard, but it's very sturdy and looks like it's been treated in the past. It's been garaged since I've owned it and I don't drive it when it's wet out. The truck runs and drives fine. The lights works. The gauges don't. The only gauge that works is the gas gauge (thank goodness) and the oil light. I recently replaced the rear brake/turn signals because the plastic was showing it's age. I also put Wilwood brakes on the front. They inspire confident braking. The drum brakes didn't inspire anything except fear. This truck isn't quick by any means. As far as I know it has the original engine, but it has been well maintained. It leaks a little oil out of the breather valve on top of the valve cover after you drive it for awhile. The only seat in the truck is a small seat that was probably made for a forklift. It was necessary because the cab is so small. Any other seat and my head would be sticking out the top. I have lowering blocks on the rear because it just looks way cooler. Those can be removed if you like it to sit higher. It has a clear Texas title with Texas antique plates. ***Edit: I added a picture of the wheels that came with it. These are included in the sale if the purchaser wants them. |
