UP FOR AUCTION IS A REAL NICE SURVIVOR 1972 DATSUN 240Z WITH 95K ORIGINAL MILES. THIS 240Z WAS DELIVERED TO DR. WALTER L GREENE OF SELMA ALABAMA ON 4-27-72. THE FIRST 4 SERVICES WERE RECORDED IN THE MAINTENANCE MANUAL AND THE CAR WAS STILL LOCATED IN ALABAMA, SERVICED AT DRIGGERS MOTORS. IT APPEARS IT WAS TRADED IN TO DRIGGERS MOTORS OF SELMA ALABAMA ON 8/30/77 WITH 30,662 MILES. FROM THERE I BELIEVE IT WENT TO TEXAS WHERE 2 OWNERS MAINTAINED... IT. IT ARRIVED TO FLORIDA ON 11/23/16 WHERE IT HAS BEEN SINCE. I HAVE SOME VIDEOS OF THE CAR RUNNING AND DRIVING, I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHARE THEM. I AM OPEN TO TRADES UP OR DOWN FOR OTHER COLLECTOR CARS THIS IS A VERY ORIGINAL CAR, ORIGINAL INTERIOR, ORIGINAL FLOOR MATS (FALLING APART BUT STILL THERE ) ORIGINAL ENGINE WHICH MATCHES THE ENGINE CODE IN THE ORIGINAL PROTECTO PLATE. THE PAINT HAS BEEN TOUCHED UP IN AREAS BUT DOES RETAIN SOME ORIGINAL PAINT. THE INOPERABLE ITEMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: ORIGINAL RADIO NOT FUNCTIONAL, BUT THE AFTERMARKET RADIO IS FUNCTIONAL. THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO LOCATE AN IDLER PULLEY FOR THE AC COMPRESSOR BUT I DID HAVE A BEARING CHANGED THAT WAS BAD IN THE COMPRESSOR AND THE SYSTEM CHARGED, IT NEEDS A BELT AND PULLEY TO COMPLETE THE SYSTEM, BLOWER MOTOR FUNCTIONING PROPERLY THERE IS NO BODY RUST, SOME PATCHES WERE COMPLETED UNDERNEATH WHICH ARE PHOTOGRAPHED. TINY LITTLE BUBBLES ON THE PASSENGER SIDE ARE PRESENT BUT I THINK THEY HAVE BEEN THERE FOR A LONG TIME AND I DONT BELIEVE THEY WILL GET ANY LARGER THERE HAS BEEN SOME TOUCH UPS HERE AND THERE BUT THE 240 DOES RETAIN SOME ORIGINAL PAINT. THE FINISH IS VERY NICE, A STONG 7 OUT OF 10. THERE ARE A FEW DINGS HERE AND THERE, A COUPLE SPOTS I HIGHLIGHT IN THE VIDEOS THAT ARE CHIPPED. UNFORTUNATELY I DONT HAVE MANY SERVICE RECORDS, JUST THE FIRST 4 SERVICES FROM WHEN THE CAR WAS SOLD NEW AND THEN A RECEIPT BACK FROM 77' WHEN THE CAR WAS TRADED IN AT DRIGGERS MOTORS.
