1978 Datsun F10 Wagon, probably the ugliest car every made. Not many of these around. Front wheel drive car, A14 engine, 1397 cubic inches, 80 horsepower, 4 speed, bought this last year as I had one many years ago, was not running. I found a new old stock carburetor from japan. Pumped out the old gas. Compete tune up, plugs, wires, cap points rotor. New air filter, had front CV joints installed 2014, new tires too. The clutch wasn't working so I replaced the whole system, clutch, disk throw out bearing, hose, slave cylinder, and its master cylinder. It runs like a champ. I drive it 30 miles a week to the store. Now for the not so good. There is some rust on the body, but the floor pans are solid. Several small dents. Missing front hood trim, antenna, cracked grill. All the lights work, blinker, horn, and buzzer work, wipers and the radio don't. I replaced the wiper motor and still no go I think it's the switch. Fan motor only works on high. This is a rare car with Air Conditioning. The engine bay is complete and un-molested. AC system is complete. All smog junk is there too. The windshield one crack I have no idea of where to find another but its only one crack on the passenger side. Side window weather seals are hard and brittle. The interior is rough, the front seats and carpet need to be redone. Door panels can be salvaged, Middle seat and side panels are nice. Rear carpet is good, side plastic is brittle. Rear mounted battery cause of the AC system under the hood. Air does not work, will need chargeI love the car, but found another in great condition. $500 deposit, rest cash or certified funds. Clear title in my name, located in Brunswick Georgia i have a transporter who can deliver at buyers cost. comes with original spare tire, dash, fan controls, water pump, hard to find hub caps, original owner manual, repair book. the rust isnt bad, just the outer panels. floors solid. ive put over 200 miles on it no problems I've located a guy with a car he is parting out. I ve ask to buy all the missing or damaged parts for the blue car. I haven't heard back. I will make this information available to who ever buy this car.
