This Restored Datsun has less then 2000 miles after full engine, transmission, body/paint rebuild. I sourced NOS carbs [Solex] with knobbyer cam that I had installed.Had the dash rebuilt by "Just Dashes", Sourced a very cool hardtop. NOS genuine Datson parts were used in the rebuild of the motor and tranny. Jock from Bill;'s Datsun in Clackamas Oregon did the engine/tranny work and most of the electronics and all the under dash heater controls and such and carb work. During the paint job it was found that there was a fair amount of bondo on one quarter panel and Jock from Bill's Datsun found a NOS quarter panel that I had installed. New Shocks, struts, leaf springs re-arched, new interior vinyl on seats, doors and on rear section. American Racing Lebra rims powder coated and pinstriped. Distributor totally set up by Jock. New Clutch. The motor is very powerful and crazy fun to drive. New correct sized tires. Brakes rebuilt however somewhat spongy [typical].Flaws include the door pulls have not been installed and I will need to double check that I have those. The latch that holds the hood up you have to set it in place rather then it popping into place when hood is raised. The clock is not working however several extra included. If the car is not driven regularly it is difficult to start [sometimes needs a shot of starter spray] and may need some fine tuning of the carbs for an easier start after its been sitting awhile. The vanity license plates are not included.
