This Three owner (really two owner) 1971 Datsun 240 Z has been a California car since new! It was brought to Michigan in 2020, where it was completely gone through and sorted. Brakes, suspension, electrical, and cosmetics! This car was completely taken apart, by the original owner, and rejuvenated it finishing in the year 2000, as the receipts show the refurbishment totaling nearly $20,000 in 1999! It was used as a show car, and weekend driver. In 2020 owner number two, bought the car to flip, that’s where I came in. I bought the car from him and had it shipped to Michigan. Then ensued a two-year love affair, as it was Covid era,I had plenty of time to devote to going through the car, and making every aspect as functioning correct as possible. Highlights include Koni yellow adjustable struts and shocks, Koenig lowering springs, new wheels, new tires, Retrosound Bluetooth radio, all the fluids were changed, etc. I went through this car, as a keeper. I am only contemplating selling it now as I reached the point in life I have to, as they say thin the herd. The pictures speak for themselves, if you are seriously contemplating buying an early 240 Z. I highly recommend you check this one out before you spend serious money for a pig with lipstick. This car runs and drives starts and handles just as good as it looks in the pictures, it even has a later model 280 Z 5 speed transmission, and the original four-speed transmission does come with the car. Also included in the sale, are the original steel wheels, and the original D hubcaps that have never been used. They were in a box unopened when I received the car.
