Description of 1966 Datsun Other fairlady |
Up for NO RESERVE auction is my 1966 Datsun Fairlady. This would be a serious restoration project or a great parts car. Now about the title. It is currently not clear. Ebay wanted something checked in that block. But I have one. It is signed over to me and closed. As i am thinking this would make a great parts car. I did not pay the fees to put it in my name. I will give the title to winning bidder. If winning bidder wants a clear good title. there will be an additional charge of 85. 00 added to final bid price. This covers the fees here in VA. 10. 00 title + 75. 00 minimum sales tax. Just thought i would offer it this way to keep cost down if you just wanted it for parts. About the car. it has rust. Allot of rust as evident in the pics. It does seem to be fairly complete and has some parts in the trunk. It does have original jack in trunk also. There is a key to it and i have started it. I cleaned the points and sprayed gas into the carbs and it started. It did not run long. but it actually sounded good and i did not see any smoke. The tires hold air and the car rolls fine for loading purposes. It has rust in most body panels. floorboards and i saw one area in the frame with thru rust (about 6 inches long) just behind right door. The convertible top is obviously bad but the frame is good and folds down fine. It has been stored inside and out. I keep a tarp over the convertible top when outside. So remember. it's rusty. it appears complete and it runs. Good luck bidding. Car can be viewed at any time. Questions? Give me a call 302-531-5185 Now the legal stuff. I require a 250. 00 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of auction close. If you want a clear title. the 85. 00 additional fee will also need to be paid with the deposit which is also non refundable. "0" feedback bidders must call me to be approved to bid or will be deleted. no time for childish games. Car must be paid in full within 7 days of auction end. It can remain here for a reasonable time to allow pickup. Can help with loading. Just so we are sure. Car is sold at no reserve and a closed (to me) title. To get a clear title there is an additional 85. 00 required on final bid price. I have 100% good feedback and want to keep it. I have listed all i know. nothing to hide. Please ask all questions if you are not sure. REMEMBER. TITLE IS NOT CLEAR UNLESS AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF 85. 00 IS PAID ON TOP OF FINAL BID PRICE |
