Description of 1981 DeLorean DMC 12

This car was owned by the same couple for the last 20+ years and was stored inside a climate controlled garage during that time. The car sat for a year or so without use. Fuel system was clogged. K jet was removed and a carburetor conversion (Byrne Henninger of Delorean upgrade parts. com supplied)using a motorcraft 2150 carb and custom welded intake manifold was fitted. Car runs and drives. fuel tank needs to be cleaned. Currently running on boat fuel tank in the spare tire well. All K Jet compononents are included and can be bolted directly back in place. Front drivers side brake caliper sticks some and should be rebuilt. easy and cheap to rebuild. Interior is decent. seats not torn. minor cracks . Headliner could stand to be refreshed. This is a desireable 5 speed manual car. With a little more TLC this could be a great daily driver or local show winner. one light scrape behind passenger rear tire. Chassis solid. Some light surface rust on fuel tank plate from brake fluid leak EASILY REPAIRED. just sand and repaint . rest of chassis perfect. Wouldn hurt to refresh rubber seals. hoses and belts.
