Desoto's position of the transition from Dodge and Plymouth to the upscale Chrysler put it in a very precarious position by this time and it was not to last much longer. Here is an entry level Firesweep done in a quintessential 50's color combination and equipped to please the more upscale buyer of the day. The Kelsey Hayes wire wheels and wide white wall tires really set this one off along with great chrome and stainless trim. The 325 runs great and the 2 speed transmission shifts smoothly.
