Description of 1957 Plymouth Fury DeSoto Firedome

Hell. nbsp; I am selling my 1957 DeSoto Firedome. 341 HEMI engine. RUNNING! I bought this car from the original owner. This car sat for 30 years before I bought it with high hopes. I have taken the body down to metal and prepped and primed the metal. All the body metal looks great and solid aside from what you can see. The car needs rockers. floors and trunk metal. I have the partial front floor sectons. The front and rear glass are in great shape with no damage. Side glass is there with 2 cracked door windows. The windows also roll up and down freely. All the wiring looks good. The light work as well as the brights. Horn works. No dash lights. brake lights. or turn signals at the moment but all is there and workable. No rust around the windows! Solid frame. Power brakes work and all wheels turn and the brakes look good. E brake works. Push button transmission functions great but the car will not go forward. needs tranny rebuild I beleive. Reverse works and the wheels spin forward when the tires are elevated. Power steering works and the front end feels tight. Okay. now the HEMI. The odometer reads 94K. The pedals are hardly worn and this could be actual mileage. The Hemi runs very strong and sounds tight. NO noises. Fired right up after 30 yrs. No leaks. Runs cool. I have put a spin-on type oil filter on. ***I have all the interior parts** The seats are in very good condition. I wish I could finish this project.
