Description of 1973 Dodge Dart SPORT TRUE H-CODE 340 4-SPEED w/ A/C & 8 1/4 REAR

Please note: Before you decide to bid, ake sure you read all of the description, nd understand it...You are bidding to own, ot to come & look and decide you don't want it because it is not what you thought it was or youdon't have the money to pay by the terms!!

Up for bid is a 73 Dodge Dart Sport, riginally 340 4-speed with air conditioning, 1/4 rear, nd fold down rear seat, now no engine or trans...Rare major project rolling chassis car...Just the 4-speed parts, lack interior parts, isc brake set up, nd other hard-to-find factory 340 components would easily add up to more than what my reserve price is...This is one of 1099 total 4-speed 340 Darts produced in 73, nd this one was probably the only one ever built this way...Documented with dash vin, ender tag, atching body sequence number stampings, nd clear Pa title...Uniquely built car from the factory that had V68 & V88 stripe delete, inted windows, nside hood release, chrome exhaust tips, 88 interior decor package, 41 power front disc brakes, ucket seats, nd JY9 Dark Gold Metallic with F6L3 Parchmant vinyl interior. Most of the interior has been changed to black and the exterior is a red/orange/primer color...Car needs total restoration and some parts replacement, ncluding most body panels, loors, nd trunk...Frame rails and torsion bar crossmember are still faily solid...Driveshaft, rans crossmember, an shroud, bar, nd some other miscellaneous parts are included, s pictured. Since the pics were taken, have also located and will include a lower dash column filler, teering wheel center woodgrain metal Dodge decal, assenger's side headliner trim, nd 1 Sport emblem for the fender...The disc brake system is complete and appears to be restorable...The front swaybar is intact...The clutch pedal set up is complete with over center spring and switch...A/C box appears to have had an incorrect evaporator core installed at some time, hich did not fit the opening, o the firewall area around it was cut and bent...There are no under hood A/C components and the box with internal components condition is unknown...The 8 1/4 rear appears to be the correct rear with the 3.21 tag intact, ut was started to be disconnected at the line and hose sometime previously...The rear drums, ining, nd hardware appear to be complete and in good used condition...The correct 6 leaf 340 springs also appear to still be intact...The rear sail panels, ome of the other interior panels, nd armrests were changed to black previously...Some of the panels are the original parchment ones that were sprayed black previously...Steering wheel and column are in good used condition with key, nd the doors and trunk lock also work with keys...All the glass is decent factory tinted, ncluding the windshield, hich should polish up nicely...There are a few notable scratches on the door and rear window glass, ut they are not all sanded up or chipped...Gas tank will need replaced...I have the original headliner board, f the buyer wants it, ut it is broken, arped, nd cracked...The hood has rust, nd holes were drilled at incorrect locations for a scoop that was not included with the car when I bought it...This car had some damage to the driver's side of the front bumper and fender...It may have a bit of side sway on the front unibody, ut the fenders and hood lined up OK within the factory hole provisions...The inner fenders do have some cracks on the bottom where they connect to the rails, nd the shock towers may be leaning in from previous driving in this condition...The left front fender has been replaced with a nice used one that did not have any rust holes on the dog leg, nly a few holes at the top cap...This fender even has the correct factory 340 emblem provisions...The right front fender appears to be original to the car, ut probably should be replaced due to heavy surface rust on the back side and rust on the dog leg...The front bumper face bar, einforcement bar, nd left front bumper brackets were straightened...The lower area of the core support had been bent up, s well as the top cross bar, ut both have been straightened...The front suspension will need totally rebuilt...340 numbered torsion bars are intact, s well...Driver's door had been replaced previously, nd is in rough condition on the bottom inside...The wheels are 14 inch steelies, nd the tires are decent rollers...The grille is in good used condition...Bezels are fair...Seatbelts are included, s pictured, ut shoulder belts are missing...Front bucket seats appear to be the correct year and model, ut were replaced at some time, nd have been sprayed black vinyl...The tracks are in very good used condition...The driver's side rocker panel will need replaced, assenger's side appears to be repairable...Left side latch pillar had some cracks, nd has been repaired.
