This is a 1930 DC-8 Dodge Brothers rumble seat coupe. This car has the stock Dodge Brothers 221 cubic-inch straight 8-cylinder engine offering 75 horsepower. Only a limited number of these 8-cylinder cars were built from 1930 to 1933. Car had a frame off restoration that was completed during the middle of 2012. According to the build card from Chrysler Research Center, olor and paint scheme are same as original for this car which was shipped to Santa Maria, A when new. Car runs and drives very nice. 3 speed transmission, tock 4 wheel hydraulic brakes, as electrical system updated to 12 volt, have also added aftermarket gauges. All original gauges appear to function but I have not been confident of their reliability. This car was restored Amil Gehrke who has been featured in various national news articles and has done a number of restoration of Dodge Brothers car.
