Description of 1979 Dodge Magnum XE

1979 Dodge Magnum. These are somewhat rare and getting hard to find in running condition. Only built in 1978 and 1979. This one is Cadet Blue with a white vinyl top with quarter window louvers. 318-2 with a 727 torqueflite. White vinyl standard bucket seat interior. PS. PB. AC. Manual crank tinted windows. I just did a complete tune-up and replaced all the brakes. Front brakes are NOS Mopar cop car parts. Wheels are restored Magnum GT. They were bead blasted. powder coated in satin black. and the centers were painted with dark argent metallic paint and clear coated. The centers and trim rings are near mint. New chrome lug nuts with locks. All 4 wheels are 15X7 with near new Grand Am Radial GT tires. 215x70x15 on the front and 275x60x15 on the rear. There is a 5th GT rim with spare tire in the trunk. Headlight doors operate properly and the windshield wipers also work properly. These are 2 items that these cars are known for having problems with. There are auto meter gages for oil pressure. engine temperature. and voltage. There is a nice Kenwood in dash single CD player that works great. The engine compartment is all original as is the electrical wiring. This one has not been hacked up. I have some extra used and new parts that go with this car. Items that need attention: The paint is about 4 years old and looks like a cheap Maaco job and is cracked and peeling. There is a very small amount of bubbling rust around the right rear wheel well and a little surface rust on the right side of the trunk floor. No rust through at all. the chassis. frame. and floors are completely solid. Otherwise. the rest is rust free. There is a small transmission leak. The driver side window regulator is broken. but I have a spare to go with the car. The A/C needs some servicing. Interior shows wear and needs some cleaning and restoration. This Magnum is in overall good condition and runs. and drives well. It is currently registered and insured. Also included for the buyer. I will fill the trunk with a bunch of extra parts that will fit the 78. 79. Magnum. 5 - 78 Dodge Charger. and all years Chrysler Cordoba including: interior parts. headlight doors. taillights. a tach dash with 100 MPH speedometer. rubber door seals. cat whiskers for the side windows and misc. trim parts. electrical parts. new rear air shocks. new front shocks. extra 4 bbl air cleaner. and anything else that will fit. There is a car cover also included. Make a reasonable offer. I have too many of these and need to thin out the collection. I will sell only to United States buyers. No exceptions.
