This is a number matching, eal deal Coronet 500, purchased about 10 years ago. I bought the car from my neighbor, ho bought the car new at a local dealership in 1968. The car was straight, ith very few door dings or dents in sheet metal when I bought it. It was stripped down to bare body and paint was removed by walnut hulls to base metal. The car was then taken to a local body shop, here it got lower rear quarters and new paint. It was then taken to a localupholstery shop where theall original interiorand top was replaced by Year One. The original 383 engine was cleaned and cammed and then installed, long with the original 727 transmission with stall. The engine had 94,000 miles on the odometer when I bought it. It still runs out strong, ith a 3.23 positrac 8 3/4 rear end. 11" front disc brakes were added to help stop this monster Mopar! Wheels are Boyd Coddington, 7"x8 front and 17"x10 rear. The car is drivenoccasionallyon Rod Runs and to car shows. It has been awarded many awards like Street Machine Nationals Award of Excellence, any 1st place at car shows, nd 3rd place in class at Mopars at the Strip in Las Vegas in 2009. Guaranteed not to meet yourself coming or going when driven. A sure head turner!
