There wasn’t many changes in ’72 with only a new grill and tail lights. The one we have is a true 340 car that has the #s Matching Engine. It’s also a factory AC Car. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd driveline of the Dodge, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us. Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, ictures, r any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website. We will start off with the exterior of the Challenger. It has a solid and straight body with good lines. Everything is covered in Black Paint that is slick and accented by the Black Side Stripes and Black Vinyl Top. Also it has the RT Hood with the flat black inlay. The paint on this Challenger shows well with a deep rich shine. They did a nice job with the jams, nder the hood, nd in the trunk. At the time of the resto they replaced the bumpers as well as other trim. They also replaced the weather stripping and window seals. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” American Racing Wheels with New Tires. Next, e will take a look at the interior of the ’72. On the inside it’s done right with it all being done in black. It has the bucket seats and console. Also it has the Pistol Grip Automatic Shifter. As with most Challengers it has the wood grain inserts in the door panels and in the dash. This car has the factory tach and gauges that all work. It is a factory ac car that has been upgraded to Vintage Heat and AC. Finally, e will take a look at the driveline of the Dodge. Under the hood it all looks correct with the matching #s 340 4 Barrel. It retains the stock valve covers and breather. As we said the AC has been upgraded to the new style compressor. The trans is a 727 that is mated to an 8 ¾ Rear End. It retains the stock manifolds with dual exhaust. When you look at the floor pans they are solid and all look stock. This car has the factory under coating. This is a great car, ut it is a clone of an RT. If we can help you in any way with questions or a specific picture, ou can call our office at (865)988-8088.
