Description of 1956 Dodge Other Pickups

1956 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup C-3-B6 Custom Regal 108" wheelbase. 230 CI straight 6 cylinder engine, speed trans (column mount), .78 rear end. Good glass, ew wood in bed, epainted (enamel) in the '80's.
The truck is in good running condition & licensed. Engine was completely rebuilt in 2004. Has rebuilt water pump. In 2006 it had new front wheels cylinders, ebuilt rears, ew master cyl & front brake hoses. Brake shoes are good. Tires were replace in 2014. Clutch releases high up, ut does not slip (may need new clutch disc). Had new points & condenser installed
Body and sheet metal in good condition. Front doors have minor rust out on the inside bottom. Drivers side running board loose due to rusty underside mounts. Right side inner fender shield missing. Have shield from a one ton truck which is too big but could possibly be adapted. Head liner in cab needs replacing.
This truck belonged to a friend who died suddenly in June. Glad to answer any questions. NYS has a transferable registration, itles started in 1973.On Aug-26-15 at 12:58:40 PDT, eller added the following information:

Tire size is 215 75R15 and were replaced in 2013. Included with truck is its owners manual & an hydraulic jack.
