Description of 1947 Dodge Other Pickups

This cool Rat Rod is a 2 year old construction. This is a turn-key Rat Rod. in 'DRIVE ME NOW' condition. All new box tubing frame. front to back. 350 Chevy crate motor. Triple Stromberg-style carburetors with progressive linkage (9-Super-7 carbs). Triple K&N air filters for great intake flow. Lakester headers with new gasket replacement and removable. bolt-in baffles installed prior to the exhaust turn-outs. Aggressive sounding. but no ear plugs needed to drive it! Get this. the engine has pulleys on it and a wide toothed belt from a supercharger. When you rev it up. it whines and sounds like it is supercharged. Va-ROOM!Freshly upholstered original seat with original 3-position forward/back locator tabs. Long throw automatic shift lever with shifter button on top. Removable steering wheel and hidden battery switch for security (also removable quick-fuses). Stock gauges are for appearance only. Triple gauges work. Driver's seat belt has 13" extension to accommodate large driver. Passenger seat belt needs to be replaced. Safety seat belt mounts included for if you choose to install 3 point belts later (not installed). Cowl air intake works. Windshield tilts outward for additional intake. also closes. Windshield wiper inoperable. Passenger door window rolls up and down. Driver window not installed. but mechanism works. All new door glass included for both sides. No locks on doors. Handles function. Front radiator frame is from a tractor. New rear stake bed! You can quickly age the wood to look old and grey using vinegar that has had steel wool dissolved in it. YouTube instructions exist for your review. fun to do! Bed is a custom made-to-fit heavy duty wooden pallet (capable of holding 3000 pounds - max of 500 recommended for this low riding truck). Stake sides are made from pallet wood to match. Rat style!1959 taillights. Headlights work on low and high. No over heating issues. Starts up every time. Shifts quickly.
