1977 Dodge Charger Daytona Midnight Special A Very Rare car, s only 30,367 Chargers were produced for '77 Daytona production did not exceed a thousand cars, ith the T-Top option only installed on some 25 to 30 cars...I can't find an exact number. I am the second owner, having purchased this car in 1981 in Ft. Worth,Texas. the car is loaded with every available option, right down to a factory tow package that has electric brakes under the hood wired in,a rectifier to charge a battery, and hitch. full guage package, including a 140mph speedo, tach, etc. car has sat since 1985the car was my late wife's, nd it was taken off the road when she got sick..we never got around to getting it re registered and back on the road. it does have some rust here and there on the back quarters, but small. no rust underneath that I can tell. the windows still work, s does the blower moter, ights, tc,so wiring is good. motor is stuck from sitting. was rebuilt 2 years prior to storage.have NOS parts, new park lights, tail lights, etc.the T-Tops are there, seal great, don't leak.all in all, very restorable, are car. there was one accident in 1981,when a car backed into the right quarter panel behind the door..not bad, as repaired. was a dent/crease about 6 inches long. bodyshop fixed. deck lid was replaced with another, due to tree branch damage from storm last winter. I have several pics of car, will ad more soon. really don't want to sell, ut out of room, and I know I won't be doing anything with it anytime soon. do your research, and see how rare this is...I've never seen another T-Top charger on the road. good luck!
