Description of 1970 Dodge Challenger Western Sport Special

1970 Dodge Challenger Western Sport Special. Originally equipped with a 318 2-bbl and console A/T. Both motor and transmission are gone. Car came factory in triple white, ncluding eggshell white exterior paint, hite bucket seat interior, nd a white vinyl top.

According to the Chrysler Corporation Sales Codes, he A91 Western Sport Special included a WSS decal, inyl top, oodgrained instrument panel, emote control mirror, im blow steering wheel, ill, elt and cowl mouldings, ront splash pan scoop, 78x14 WSW tires, ear astrotone-painted panel, edal dress-up, ront and rear bumper guards, nd rallye wheels. It was available on Challenger Hardtops only.

Front frame rails and torsion bar cross-member are in good condition. Inner front fenders are fair with typical E-body rust around the front hood hinge area and shock tower. Upper cowl is decent and lower cowl is rusted along the bottom where it meets the front edge of the floor pan. Original floor pan has been removed and a newone-piece floor pan fitted in place. The new floor pan will need to be welded in and center console mounting brackets attached to the driveshaft tunnel to complete the installation. Rear trunk floor and frame rails were rusted out and have been removed. New rear frame rails ($209 ea.) and trunk floor crossmember ($59) which the rear bumper bolts to, ill be needed along with a complete trunk floor ($169) and extensions ($58ea). Quarter panels, heel wells, nd Dutchman panel, ill also require replacement along with other typical E-body rust repairs. Car does not appear to have ever been wrecked.
