1935 Dodge Brothers Humpback Panel Delivery Truck offered by Gas Monkey Garage in phenomenally well preserved condition! The Dodge brothers (John and Horace) got their start making parts for Ford and other makers. From the first Dodge Brothers automobile in 1914, he Dodge brothers' durability and quality earned their company a strong reputation and good sales. They did not build an actual truck until World War I, hough, nd that was a panel van, ot a pickup - with a half-ton capacity! When I caught wind of this incredibly rare High Desert find with virtually no rust and in complete, nmolested original condition I had to act quickly to secure it for the shop! This rare 1935 Dodge Brothers Humpback Delivery has the original engine and drive train present in what looks like original condition (even the leather fan belt looks original!) however this truck has been stored in a warehouse for nearly 40 years and no attempt has been made to start it since then!( the engine will turnand the transmission feels like it goes into gear with out issue, oweverno other assessment hasbeen made of any mechanical systems and this truck should be completely serviced prior to any attempt to start it for the first time to ensure safety and reliability)The body is in phenomenal condition with virtually no rust and a kick ass patina that only comes from years of honest hard work! Look closely at all the panel gaps as they are remarkably straight and even! There are a few small dents and dings in the body with a couple of larger ones in the fenders that should hammer out nicely (see all 100 pics)! The interior is well preserved and appears mostly complete with some restoration work in progress for the wood framed roof insert, hich appears complete. Underside pics reveal a fairly solid chassis with minimal superficial rust present on most components and a rusted exhaust system still in place. There are 5 new tires included (2 mounted on the front and 3 unmounted) making the restoration process move forward quickly for you. While this would be an excellent candidate for a complete restoration project for Aaron and the Monkeys, ith our filming schedule we just won’t be able to get to it anytime soon and so it’s offered to you just as we found it (due to filming we can’t perform any service on this truck or build it for you SOLD AS IS/ WHERE IS).
