Description of 1970 Dodge Other A108

1970 Dodge A108 van. 318 V-8, orqueflight 727 automatic transmission. Front disc brake conversion, point seat belts with shoulder harnesses. New wheels and tires. It has a 3.55 rear end and I have a 3.0 rear end gear assembly that goes with it. Stereo with cd player and 4 speakers. Pop open rear door glass for better air flow. New windshield rubber with newer windshields. L.E.D. tail lights with new lenses, alogen headlights. Chrome valve covers, resh major tune up. New hoses and belts. Remote transmission cooler. New shocks and some front end bushings.Stainless steel outside mirrors. All outside emblems and chrome in great shape. Upholstery on the seats is good. Class 3 trailer hitch. I looked for a long time to find a old dodge van as nice as this before I bought it a few years ago. This vehicle has spent 90% of it's life parked in a garage at night. There is no rust that I can find. It gets thumbs up and waves from people everywhere I take it.I have the original window sticker from the dealer that sold it. It has spent the whole time in California in a rust free environment. Now I will go over everything that might not suit everyone so there are no surprises. The van was originally white and painted the cinnamon color it is today by the previous owner, here is some chipping of the paint in the door jams and interior of the doors. I have base coat, lear coat touch up paint but never fixed it. The van originally was a 3 speed transmission which was converted to automatic using the transmission and all related parts from a 1969 dodge A108 with a V-8/auto. If it sits for a week without driving the vehicle is slow going into reverse unless you put it in neutral first for a few seconds, ther than that it shifts fine. I have been quoted $900.00 to rebuild it, ut never found it necessary. The interior is old wood paneling installed at the dealer in 1970 and well worn. There are a couple of small dents which you will find in the pictures. The front Bumper has a slight tweak on the right side, nd the rear bumper has a tweak on the left side, hown in pictures. both bumpers can be easily fixed at a bumper repair. It has a small oil leak from the oil pan that shows a few drops after a week. This is a really nice A-108
