Description of 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z |
1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z For your bidding pleasure is my 1988 Dodge Daytona, t is a Shelby Z package car so it has 4 wheel disc brakes and other assorted suspension upgrades. The car is finished in Intense blue with grey cloth interior. The car went through a few engines and I bought it as a roller with full intention to do a auto x car/driver with it but I've since piled on too many projects. The car is wearing Centerline wheels (or at least really good copies!) and has some minor body damage in the fenders but I have a pair of fenders that go with the car, ust is minimal for a car that has been in the midwest it's entire life, here are small holes behind the rear wheels and some minor rust in the rear floor pan in the footwell for back seat passengers, nd some foam was sprayed in the backs of the rocker panels (as in at the rear wheel, ot fully underneath the car), 'm assuming there's some rust behind it but I haven't scraped it out to verify. Oddly enough the E brake cable area isn't rotted out! Stock this car has the Turbo II intercooled engine and A555 transaxle but they're long gone, do have some 2.5L TI parts that go with it such as the intake, ead, xhaust manifold, nd some odds and ends. The only remaining TII stuff is the radiator/intercooler setup. The previous owner installed poly bushings and KYB struts as well as a FWD Performance Stage 3 ECM. The underhood wiring looks to have been fiddled with but probably salvageable. If I have left something out or you'd like to request more information feel free to send me a message and I'll answer it as soon as I can! Car will have to be picked up on the west side of Indianapolis, N 46214, bout 1.5 miles east of Lucas Oil Raceway (or about 5-6 miles west of I-465) And it does have a clear Indiana title! |
