Description of 1967 Dodge Dart |
1967 V8 273 cubic inches 2-door. This car spent from 1967 to 2004 in Los Angeles. From 2004 to now it's been garage kept in NJ. It runs great. Very powerful, trong and fast with a lot of pick-up. Underside is clean with almost no substantial rust. (except footwells, ee below). Since it came from California and then sat in a garage for ten years, his car is a find. It has plenty of issues but will make a solid project for anyone who wants to rebuild a car from scratch and wants something good to start with. Saving your time and mine: ~There are dents. The right side has a dent behind the door and a small dent close to the headlight. ~A large amount of the back of the trunk is dented from being lightly rear-ended long ago and repaired with crude tools. (see pictures) ~right brake light lens is gone. Left lens is chipped. (see pictures) ~power steering system leaks ~no A/C ~headlight switch replaced by workaround toggles ~foot long crack in windshield ~upholstery is completely shot. (california sun. See pictures.) ~surprisingly little rust... however... both front foot wells have rust holes. Passenger side has a temporary repair using molded plastic and "great stuff" insulation foam. (see pictures) ~Some interior trunk pieces were bent when the trunk was bent. They are now also sealed with great stuff. (see pictures) ~Gas gauge doesn't work. ~one hubcap missing ~windshield fluid sprayer doesn't work |
