Description of 1971 Dodge Power Wagon

1971 DODGE POWER WAGON W 250 3/4 4X4 4 SPEED I looked for years to find one of these in good condition.I purchased this truck a few months back to restore. I moved to this town for a job and then was told the job was no longer available then Iwas just notified that I owe Uncle Sam a substantial amount of $$.Thus the sale.
  • Let me explain what I know: Truck is out of Utah from a Dodge lover who had multiple Dodge trucks.Motor isa 440 from and old police car, uns fantastic no smoke, eaks and start first time every time. 4 speed with granny gear. The rear-end gears were change from the original 356's to 410's to make it more drivable and now the speedo does not work, t needs a module on the trans for the 410 gears. Dana 60's front and rear. The winch is not hooked-up (needs the driveline installed and I do not have it) Just installed a new battery, he mufflers and exhaust were just installed before I purchased it. I will post a you tube video of this truck running, t is very powerful and everyone will know you are coming. Tires are like new. It will also come with a brand new tire (no rim) and extra door. Hubs and transfer case work fine, rans good, ome seepage underneath but no leaks. Manual steering. Swepline.org has a P/S kit for $500.00 that is the way I was going to go.

  • Rust:If you know Dodge you know the rust spots. Cab mounts are solid, ab corners, nd floor are solid with no rust. the tail gate is rusted as you can see the aluminum patch on it.
The passenger door has a small spot so there is a extra door but it has a ding, o fix the spot or the ding? I was going to fix the small rust issue. This is and original paint truck so you can see there is nothing to hide. I can provide pictures of any part of the vehicle. Shag carpet is free...

  • Due to age: Sold as-isno-warranty, have described everything I know aboutthis truck. I would like to see someone who wants this on the road again. This truck runs and drives with no issues and is not a project truck, ut could use updating, aint etc. The truck is in Billings Mt and is available to view anytime. Check my feedback, have sold many items on here including vehicles over the years. I will have a reserve, s modest and I will not reveal it, f you like the truck bid, t is a great representation. I do know a guy who trans ports in this area for reasonable amounts and is dependable.

  • Title: Is marked duplicate due to the cab and bed being changed from another truck. I can supply the phone number of the previous owner if you would like to speak with him.
  • I CAN STORE FOR A REASONAL AMOUNT OF TIME.

PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AND DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU PLAN ON FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE. I DO NOT NEED HELP SELLING AND I CANNOT EXCEPT ANY TRADES. BEFORE. NO SCAMS, AYMENT BY CASHIERS CHECK THROUGH MY BANK CLEARED BEFORE I SHIP. $500.00 DEPOSIT DUE WITHIN 24 HRS.

On Mar-16-16 at 11:40:00 PDT, eller added the following information:

I will be posting a video of this truck running on you-tube with a link to the video in the next day or so with a walk around and you can hear the truck running
I am gettinga mailer demon from my e-mail so I am not sure anyone is getting my responses. I will post answers to all questions here.
Questions:
Reserve is very reasonable, will not give it out.
First; I have no idea or any kind of specs on the motor.I was told the motor had about 25K on the motorMotor is strong with no blow by or some of any kind hot or cold.I do not know if the crank was bored.I do not know if it is a steel or cast crank motor
The truck is a W250 heavy 3/4 ton truck This truck was a daily driver. I do not have enough knowledge about the truck to give an idea of how far you can drive it. I drove it around here on city streets a few times andthe front end and steering are ok for a 45 year old truck.(Me personally) I would not drive this truck 500 miles. The fuel alone would kill you. I know a shipper that lives in Nampa ID and travels to billings and SLC regularly so he is very fair on shipping.
The windshield has a rock chip that has not cracked yet.
I do not see any numbers by the dist: I will check again tomorrow
Clutch seems to work fine
Trans shits normal
The seat is in good shape
The only rust is a small area on the pass-door and the tailgate, ockers and floors are perfect. It does have headers and they look to be magna-flow mufflers
