Description of 1967 Dodge Coronet |
This car was designed to be a street/strip car. It could be used for just the race track or make it a street car, what ever your preference may be. Repaired all of the sheet metal andwelded inall of the side moldings holes and repainted the body and engine compartment in 2002. Car has a newwindshield 1966 426 hemi block and heads. Block is .020 oversize with stock mopar pistons 10.5:1 compression ratio. Stock Hemi rods and crank shaft is from Crank Shaft Co.and a fluid damper. All have been professionally balanced. Cylinder heads has all new valves and seats for the unleaded fuel. New manufactured Hemi K member Stock rocker arms. Keith Black aluminum valvecovers. Milodon oil system and 10 quart oil pan Cloyes timing gears and chain Competition Cam part number 24-312-5 612 lift and a 310 duration Crossram intake manifold and 2 780 CFM Holley Carburetors 6A MSD ignition system and electronic distributor and coil Mopar race manual fuel pump 16 gallon fuel cell TTI ceramic C-5 headers New 426 Hemi radiator Transmission is a 727 with a heavy duty rebuild kit and a manual shift valve body a 2800 stall converter a transmission safety shield and a hurst shifter New manual steering gear New Firm Feeltubular upper and lower control arms, ball joints, bushings and heavy duty tie rod ends and sleeves Front shocks QA124 adjustable Hotchkis Front and Rear sway bars Adjustable strut rods Hemi Super Stock Torsion Bars and rear springs Front brakes were specially made by Aerospace Componets with 4 piston calipers and NASCAR vented rotors and a new manual master cylinder Rear brakes are new Mopar brake drums 11 by 2 1/2"...shoes and all hardware cylnders Differential is 8 3/4...323 gears....no posiI have all of the front and rear stainless steal moldings and thedoors windowframe moldings and new weather seal. The tires and wheels on this car are only so I can move it around.You will need to buy ties and wheels I built this car to do some land speed racing. How ever the car has never been raced, only driven around the neighborhood maybe 5 miles If the new owner does not want the cross ram manifold and Holley carbs I can replace them with a mopar inline 2 x 4 manifold and I have 2 new edelbrock 600 cfm If you do not want the roll cage I can remove it. It is a bolt in cageI also have the other front seat and rear seats and door panelsI could change oil pan and oil system what ever the new owner would like.
