This is a 1956 Dodge Lancer Custom Royal with the D-500 Hemi package. It has power brakes and power steering. The 1956 D-500 was a high-performance model derived from the standard 1956 Dodge but differing in many ways. It included a heavy duty suspension and other chassis upgrades from the New Yorker and Imperial lines, upgraded brakes, and a high-performance 315in³ (5.2L) Hemi-head V8. A four-barrel Carter carburetor pushed output to 260hp (194kW) and 330lb·ft (447N·m), with the PowerFlite 2-speed automatic as an option. This car has had a lot of restoration work done over the last few years such as a new paint job, front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed along with many other trim pieces. It has new exhaust and brakes front to back. Brand new wide white wall tires. The engine had been professionally rebuilt at the time of purchase a few years ago, but there is no documents to go with. Very fun car and gets tons of attention. Thanks for looking.
