Description of 1971 Dodge Dart Plum Crazy C7 |
1971 Dodge Dart Factory C7 Plum Crazy Purple Slant 6 Automatic Rally Wheels Air Condition car, most components are there or in the trunk. Solid Frame Rails, firewall and front inner fenders, hinge pillars, and trunk gutters. What I call a car with solid "bones" Grille is nice but headlight bezels are not there. Interior is fair. Seats are in good driver shape...need deep cleaned or dyed. Carpet is good just sun faded. Dash pad has been covered. Gauge cluster all there. Needs door panels although they are in the car. Needs headliner. Car starts, runs, yard drives, and stops though pedal is really low. Emergency brake does work. Can load on any trailer or transporter. The wiring on this car has been cut up and I didn't have time to put another harness in,so I got the ignition and starter on a generic ignition switch so it can be started, run and shut off inside the car. Needs tune up runs rough at start up, but runs pretty smooth after warm up. Trans pulls good. Tires are old. they leak down after a few days. Exhaust is cut right after the manifold. Body needs attention...lower quarters mostly and at the factory seem of 1/4 panel and top. Rust issues: lower quarter panels... under vinyl top at factory seems...one spot in passenger floor pan about 6" around...and 2 spots in trunk pan... all are patchable...otherwise pretty solid. I believe all the missing chrome pieces are in the trunk.. Car has a clear NC title. Low dollar car for the Mopar Enthusiast! Needs some work to be road worthy! Ask questions before you make offer please. And BE ABLE to meet my payment terms! Thank you!! |
