Description of 1969 Dodge Charger |
RELIST and we all know why ( atleast us sellers do - an eBay Robot Bidder ) My Buy it Now is a reflection of what the eBay Robot bidder had bid it to. Since it is a common value of 68-70 Chargers in this condition, it will be a good price. This '69 Charger came to me as a package deal - but came to me with no wheels, no engine or transmission or fenders or hood. I was able to source up some '69 Charger fenders that do need some work but aredefinitely re-useable. The hood skin is fine with just a ding in front but unfortunately the bracing underneath is rusty. When I got this car, I was really after the 1970 Charger that I bought so I am offering up this Charger at NO RESERVE................. I was able to source a 1969 FACTORY 383 Holley 4 barrel motor and transmission with HP exhaust manifolds so I set it in the engine bay and goes with car ( I kept the intake and carburetor as I needed it for another project ) and will need a rebuild. The engine transmission combo came from a 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury. I forgot to get pictures of engine compartment today but I left room to add more pictures ( 2 ) so I will post those pictures tomorrow when I get home from work. When I got this Charger most all its original Q5 Turquoise paint was gone as well as the original Black vinyl top. A friend of mine sprayed the car for me one solid color so it would present better. There are several dings and dents in body and somebody had started some body work so there is a little bit of Bondo in a couple of spots as well as rust, the doors are good, the back roll up windows are with car and drivers door has door glass as well. Passenger door is gutted but a good solid door. The floorpan is rusted and needs replaced as does trunk pan. The frame rails are SOLID - no soft spots, not even scaling front and back. This Charger needs quite a bit of work but they are also one of the more sought after vehicles of all time. There is a clear title andlegible Fender Tag. Part of Broadcast Sheet is still under backseat, but not much of it. The only part of the seating that is missing is the backseat seatback. No seat track under drivers seat. This '69 Charger is a factory 383 4 barrel car ( H - code ) with automatic in console and factory color is Q5 Turquoise with black vinyl top and black low back bucket seat interior. Im posting a picture of an identical car so you get the idea. I have a very good idea WHY the bar on core support was cut out, Im betting it was done to pull original engine and transmission out back whenever it was pulled. The bar is missing. The vacuum can for headlight doors seems solid and rust free ( Ive heard these are very hard to find ) It may not be the correct intake manifold but we did bolt one on. The hood and fenders and front valance were all media blasted. As you can see the outside's of everything was painted but inside fenders and hood and valance are still bare metal.Wheels and tires go with car but horn button pictured in one picture does not go. If you would like to call and ask questions about this Charger, please call Rich at 360-340-4703 you can also e-mail me if you need a picture or two that is not posted, Id be happy to do that. My name is Wes and I am selling Rich's Charger on my eBay account for him. I know this car so I can answer most all questions. There is a NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500.00 due within 24 HOURSof auctions ending. Transporting of this car will be the responsibility of the winning bidder, I do not know of any transport companies but the zip code where car is : 98370 and I can help load the car as it rolls and steers just fine - but no brakes and transmission is not hooked up to lock it in park.I am absolutely POSITIVE Im forgetting atleast something but if I think of anything I will add it to description. Thanks for looking and Good Luck to you AND us !! |
