This truck does not need restoration because it has been babied over the years and not driven on winter roads. It is a basic truck with the reliable 225 slant six carburetor engine. No computer ignition, no power steering, not much to go wrong.It has the manual transmission, heavy duty differential and rear springs. This is a heavy truck, the way they used to make them. When I bought it new, I Removed the door panels, front grill then sprayed the chassis with zinc chromate primer, then enamel. Recently I painted the body. Very few trucks of this vintage are rust free like this one.
