Description of 1967 Dodge Coronet coronet 440 |
I purchased this Dodge as my first car after arriving in the U.S. Originally the car came with a 383ci motor. About 8 years ago I rebuilt a 440ci Mopar motor and installed it in place of the original motor. I still have my original 383ci motor (vin numbers match) on an engine stand, which is part of this sale. The car is all original and years ago (me being an Auto Parts store owner) I purchased many parts needed to restore it. Now pushing into my 70’s I feel it is a little late to undertake this project. I have a lot of pictures to show what work was done and they are available upon request. The car has an automatic Power-Glide 727 transmission. Here is what comes with the car: -Installed, perfectly running 440ci Mopar motor. Custom built from the ground up with 0 miles, -The original 383ci Mopar motor for the car on engine stand, -I have a new (made for Mopar) original carpet, seat covers, 2 fenders, two rear quarter panels, 2 trunk panels (behind rear wheels), new rubber weather stripping set (for the doors), plus original rims & hub caps. -After installing the 440 motor I had custom built by Penn Muffler N.J. brand new stainless steel dual exhaust pipes and mufflers . -The chassis has been undercoated several times for the past 40 years, and the front floor pans have been replaced. So everything under the hood and the car itself is completely done. The body has some rust spots around the rear wheels as shown on the pictures and for that reason I purchased new replacements. If you have any questions please feel free to discuss them with me, Sam, at (856) 316-6535. ( before 9 pm EDT). Thank you. |
