Description of 1971 Dodge Other Pickups |
1971 Dodge D100 D200 Sweptline Pickup I have for sale, at no reserve, a 1971 D200 3/4 ton sweptline pickup. First of all, this truck will be sold with aState of Kansas bill of sale, I have no title for this truck. We picked this truck up from a farm here in Kansas, the farm had changed hands and the truck stayed there. Hence- Kansas bill of sale and no title. I bought this truck home about 2 years ago. I have a soft spot for the sweptiline model, although I'm more attached to the earlier trucks with the auto shifter on the dash. Anyway - this truck had sat for years, so as soon as I got it back I wanted to see if it would run. Fresh gas and a battery and we were off to the races - sort of. The engine sounded great, the transmission shifted fine through all three gears, but the water pump did leak pretty bad from sitting all those years, and it had almost no brakes. Fast forward 2 years, I though I would get the truck from the back of the yard at my shop to tinker with it - when I opened the hood, someone had stole the radiator and battery. They also broke out both side windows. All other glass is still there. After that, I gave up on the truck. I took out the instrument cluster for another truck, but everything else remains. I believe the engine isa 318, and as I said, it ran good, and there is a lot of other good stuff here if you are a sweptline guy. The odometer showed 16K when I took it out, so probably 116K.The truck is 2Wheel Drive. Please call Cort with questions at 620-786-5172. I have 100% positive feedback so feel confident bidding. I also want to keep it that way, so please call me with any questions you might have prior to bidding. Thank you and good luck. This truck is being relisted due to a no show/ no pay. |
