Description of 1989 Dodge Daytona

'89 Dodge Daytona ES Turbo T-TopsThis vehicle has been my daily driver for several years and I know both of the previous owners. THE GOODThe paint job is about 2 years old and still looks beautifulThe engine is rebuilt and runs like a topNew clutchAlmost new tiresIt passes California Smog check with no problemsA/C system has been converted to R134A refrigerantAftermarket AM/FM/CD playerTHE BADThe transmission is not the original one and it has a leak at the input shaft seal. It has already been overhauled once and I prefer to not have to fix it again. Even though I replaced all of the door & T-top seals ($1600 !!). there is still a water leak into the interior. I am tired of the musty smell in the winter and moisture on the inside of the glass. The A/C system has a slow leak which requires about 1 can per year. Otherwise. the A/C system works great. The "mini-trip computer" does not work. It was replaced in 1991 and konked out again about a year agoTHE UGLYThe driver's seat has some wear on the upper left sideThe rest of the interior has some wear which is typical for a vehicle of this ageOn Jan-13-15 at 21:36:49 PST. seller added the following information:I just picked up a full set of original Chrysler repair manuals for this car. which will be included with this auction. On Jan-15-15 at 19:12:51 PST. seller added the following information:I found a full size spare tire to go along with the car. It's a Goodyear Eagle with at least 50% tread and it's on an aluminum wheel that's the right size & offset for the car. but it's not the same pattern as the wheels that are on the car.
