Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a beautiful 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T "Tribute". This sporty car is bathed in the coveted blue metallic with white vinyl interior and a white convertible top. The engine started as a 383 and is now a 496 V8 with a 727 Torque Flight automatic transmission. This engine has been rebuilt with some high performance 10:5:1 pistons and currently has only 4,200 miles on it since it was rebuilt. This engine has a new set of Eldebrock Aluminum Heads and a Dual Plenum Intake with an 850 Holley Double Pumper carburetor . The bottom end has forged pistons a forged steel crank, H-Beam Rods and a Double Roller Timing Chain. The internals include a new competition cam and hydraulic lifters. The engine breathes through a nice set of headers and Borla mufflers with dual exhaust. The 2500 stall works perfectly to launch the car when you are ready to unleash this beast. The MSD ignition system is all new including the 12V alternator. The rear end gears are at 3:55 so you can launch effectively and still be in a comfortable rpm range on the interstate. On all four corners the car has the stock rally wheels. The 727 Torque Flight transmission has been totally rebuilt with all new B&M parts and is ready to take what you dish out.
