You are viewing a super solid and super original 1946 Dodge WF 1 1/2 ton truck with a hydraulic dump bed that appears to be original to the truck. This truck has undergone an amateur restoration sometime in the last 10 years or less and the truck is fully functional. Here are some details about this rare find. 36 cubic inch flathead 6 cylinder engine (rebuilt)4 speed trans PTO driven dump bed (it works)Bed has been re-linedLights workHorn worksSpeedo works2 speed rear endDual rear wheelsNew glass included but not installed Many extra partsEtc. This truck runs great. It starts easily and purrs like a kitten once warmed up. The battery is new and I just changed the oil and oil filter. The clutch is good and strong and all gears are functional including reverse. The truck goes down the road nice and straight and rides good for what it is. The brakes are soft due to the right rear wheel cylinder leaking. The parking brake works. The truck does not hot or smoke. The 2 speed rear has to be shifted by hand at the rear axle. The vacuum line is missing. The tires are good but do have some dry rot or checking. The body on this truck is very solid. It does not appear as though it has ever been cut up or patched up. The floors cab cab corners running boards. etc. all look nice and solid. The frame rails are very nice too. The paint is very presentable and I have all new glass that goes with the truck too.
