This 1968 Dodge Charger is a solid southern car, has all original quarters and sheet metal from what I can tell. The previous owner purchased out of Texas in 80's. car has been in dry storage no doubt. the only rust spots that I can see is on either door lower rear trailing edge of door maybe 2"x2" on each side. Inner fenders great and rust free, this car is prob 95% or better rust free. Hard to find these cars without quarters and floors and trunk that has not been replaced. Has a scrape down passenger side not bad it can be seen in pic of car before I added stripe. Car needs paint scratches here and there, but still shines. Wheels and tires were put on new maybe 2yr ago with around 1500 miles on them now. Motor is date correct 1968 b body big block with hp matching heads, small cam, duel exhaust with a little rumble. motor has been through 500 mile break in and I changed oil after that and maybe has 1k miles on it, one issue just started with motor I was driving to my girlfriends house and it started tapping on right side i think. I was going to adjust rockers but it has bar going through and I only done general motors back in my younger years. It only starts tapping (sounds like passenger head side) when on interstate after about 10 minutes. I was going to take to a mechanic but he was booked up Saturday so I drove it back home. He said prob valve lash, idk, I got over 8500.00 in motor, and over 15,000.00 in car body, car has new radiator, drum brake car, interior is original and only needs drivers seat re done has upper tear and lower tear) and needs carpet installed. (I have new carpet). Under car is excellent, no rust or rot, frame rail, floors, firewall and trunk all great, can send pics via text upon requesting the under carriage. Still bear the original gold paint under carpet, all stainless is above average condition and not dinged up, hideaways work great, bumpers nice, car is an a/c car, I dont have compressor and missing one line, prob go back with aftermarket a/c, gauges are not working other than ammeter, I have external oil pressure mounted to monitor oil pressure. Car just needs finishing or paint and seat redone and would be bad ass daily driver, or drive without finishing. But I wanted to finish car but run out of funds after 25k invested.
