Description of 1963 Dodge Other WINDOW PANEL VAN |
This vehicle appears to be very original and should be a minimal driver until brakes are examined by an expert . rear cylinders have been replaced and brakes do function but I do not encourage too much trust in old single cylinder masters. The under hood accessories tend to be mostly original. down to Chrysler alternator and firewall mounted electronics. Will need tires. paint if you dont like the Patina. has rust see pics. Engine (318 ci) runs really nice and smooth for its age. and transmission is 4 speed with grannie. clutch is good but TO bearing will need to be addressed. Will need seat covers and any mats or carpet of personal choice. Apparently there was a roof rack that had been overloaded at one time or another and then removed and bondo installed without much metal work. This is a great project for the individual looking for something different and very utilitarian. We have not had this vehicle very long so we dont know a lot about it but if you have questions please ASK. o. Horn kinda works. Emergency brake not connected. Driver door opens and closes better than passenger door. Rear doors open and close fine needs rubber all around. Have tried to describe as I see it so ask questions if you are a serious buyer. Comes with California title (Back fees due for California purchase) and is being offered for sale locally and could be removed from ebay if reserve has not been met. I just aded a picof the glove box that has the Park Property sticker and after looking at the title it says 1963 year . first sold 1968 . could this mean it was a govt truck and then registered in CA in 1968? Also I do not know anything about the decals that made it appear to be some sort of emergency vehicle. the decals were removed in order to paint and that didn't happen. |
