Description of 1971 Dodge Dart

Up for auction is a beautifully restored 1971 Dodge Demon 225! This car was purchased by us approximately 5 years ago from the 2nd owner and has been a father son project. This car has been a daily driver for the last 2 years and is a truly great car. This is a factory air. factory EL5 butterscotch or Bahama yellow. bench seat. column automatic vinyl top car. The vinyl top has been replaced and the whole interior has been completely redone by us. including new carpet. and headliner. and the seats were reupholstered using correct coachman grain vinyl and NOS orange plaid cloth! we also have custom floor mats with the Demon logo! The A/C blows ice cold and the car has an updated radio as well. The engine however is the most unique part of this beautiful car. The engine has been completely balanced. blueprinted. bored . 030 over. and only has about 7. 00 miles on it! Also. the engine has been upgraded with Clifford Research Performance headers and cam kit. an Offenhauser aluminum intake. and an Edelbrock 500 CFM 4 barrel carburetor! Other upgrades include:-Remanufactured cylinder head-Aussie Speed timing set-New pistons-New rings-New bearings. including cam bearings-New oil pump-New intake & exhaust valves-New valve springs-New retainers-New rod bolts-New torque converter- Complete blueprint and balance of rotating assembly-Custom true dual exhaust!-Rebuilt transmission with shift kitOther upgrades and recent work that have been done include:-New shocks done 2 months ago-New tires done 2 months ago-New front end done 2 months ago-New brakes and brake lines done 2 weeks agoAll work has been done to this car within the last 4 years and 7. 00 miles!This car has been my daily driver for 2 years and has given me no problems and is a great driving and very well maintained car! all maintenance is up to date and I just changed the oil last weekend. The stripes and hood scoops have been added by us. and the hood scoops are original and not reproductions. We have also had the windows tinted and installed a new windshield. The car was painted about a year ago using 2 stage basecoat clear coat and the paint used is PPG EL5 butterscotch or Bahama yellow! everything on this car works and the car is ready to drive! This car draws attention and turns heads every time it goes down the road! This is a very beautiful and very eye catching example of one of the most desirable and rare Mopars ever made!
