Description of 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T

Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 4speed that is matching numbers and one of only 1541 4 speed cars built. The original owner purchased the car new in Madison, MN before sliding off the road in the winter of 1970 causing damage to the drivers side quarter panel. The car the sat for several years and was later driven some before being disassembled for resoration with only 43,000 original miles. The drivers side quarter panel was replaced with a Goodmark skin, professional job, and the remaining panels were stripped to bare metal, minus the fenders. The body panels were primed and already blocked sanded once. The floors, trunk pan, rockers, doors ect. Are original and rust free. The drivers fender does have some repairable damage to the front edge and a small quarter sized bubble on the dog leg, but is very solid and usable. The passenger fender is very nice and also rust free. The drivetrain is numbers matching and has been rebuilt, approx. 12K alone. The 440 was bored .30 and had all ARP fasteners used to include main studs. 906 heads were rebuilt with Crane cams roller rockers and Lunati valve springs. Original Carter AVS was rebuilt. The numbers matching 18 spline Hemi 4 speed was rebuilt along with the linkage. The original Hurst shifter works as it should. The Dana 60 reared was rebuilt and includes new brake drums, wheel cylinders and brake hardware. The interior is complete, but the seats were recovered in a green velvet material. The dash is and door panels are very nice with no cracks. The center console is very nice with no cracks and nice trim. Due to the fact this car was in the process of being resorted there are lots of new parts that were collected over the years some NOS and some reproduction such as weatherstripping, wiring, bolt and screw kits ect. Several items have already been restored such as the heater box, 8 track radio, pedal assembly, brake booster, carb, trans crossmember ect. There is thousands of dollars worth of new parts included and too many to list so I photographed a list of what is boxed up and organized. The only parts that I knew are missing are: fuel tank, rocker moldings, 1 interior a pillar trim, and the distributor. The stainless trim is very nice on this car, but the bumpers would need to be re chromed. The factory gauge cluster is mint which has the tach. Now for the bad, the fender tag was lost by the previous owner and the build sheet was misplaced when the seats were recovered. The car is still numbers matching to include the engine, transmission, and body stampings on the radiator support, trunk lip and VIN tag. The options for the car are the 3.54 Dana and 4 speed (track pack), center console, tach, ram charger hood, power drum brakes, 8 track AM radio with 3 speaker dash. Car was facory F5 green with a black bumble bee stripe, no vinyl top, and green interior. With such a nice body, rebuilt drivetrain and tons of parts this car will make an easy project to finish as the hard work is mostly done. If you have ever restored a rusty project you would appreciate this one. I have a fair reserve price for the car, but do reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.
